A Wincher alternative when you just want rankings, alerts and reports
Wincher is one of the more reasonable rank trackers out there. It is far cheaper than the enterprise tools, the interface is friendly, and for a lot of people it is exactly enough. Unlike with the $100+ tools, the case for looking at a Wincher alternative is not really price shock. It is fit, and what you get per keyword.

Wincher plan structure and keyword limits from wincher.com/pricing, July 2026; the figures render dynamically there, so the amounts come from public third-party listings (Capterra, G2), not from the page itself. Where Wincher is the better fit, we say so.
Wincher pricing in 2026, explained
Wincher's pricing page (July 2026) lists tiers from 500 keywords and up to 10 sites, from 1,000 with unlimited sites, and from 5,000. Third-party listings put those tiers at about €49, €89 and €319 per month; sources disagree on the plan names, so we describe them by keyword volume. Annual billing knocks off around 17 percent, which works out to about two months free. Every tier buys the tracking plus Wincher's keyword research, so whether it is good value depends on whether you use both halves. If you only need the tracking half, a focused tool does that same core job from $19. Always check Wincher's pricing page for current numbers, since plans change.
What Wincher tracking actually covers
Worth knowing before you compare prices, because the plans differ by more than keyword count. From the feature table on Wincher's pricing page (July 2026, which unlike the plan amounts is readable in the page itself): daily ranking updates on every plan, on-demand updates from the middle plan up, and competitor tracking at 5, 10 or 20 competitors per website depending on tier. Google Maps tracking sits apart from the rest, updating weekly rather than daily and drawing on a credit allowance of 25, with extra credits sold at €10 per 500. Google Search Console integration is on every plan; Looker Studio and API access are on the higher ones. If local map rankings are the job, read that credit line carefully, and note that RankLoop does not track Google Maps at all.
What a Wincher subscription costs in pounds or dollars
Third-party listings (Capterra, G2, July 2026) quote Wincher in euros; the amounts on wincher.com are rendered with JavaScript, so we could not confirm which currency it shows at your location. Check before you buy. If you are billed from the UK or the US against a euro price, the amount leaving your account moves with the exchange rate on the day, which makes budgeting and spreadsheet comparisons fiddlier than they look. RankLoop is priced in US dollars, flat, at $19, $49 or $99 per month. In both cases local VAT is added at checkout by the seller of record, so compare the pre-tax number.
Wincher vs SERPWatcher, briefly
People comparing Wincher usually have SERPWatcher on the same list, and the two are sold very differently. Wincher is a standalone tracker from €49 per month with daily updates. SERPWatcher has no plan of its own: it is the rank tracker inside the Mangools suite, and mangools.com lists its updates as weekly, daily only on the Agency plan (July 2026). So it depends on whether you want the suite at all, and how fresh you need the positions. We wrote the longer version of that comparison on the SERPWatcher alternative page.
Is Wincher free?
Wincher's pricing page advertises a free trial, and the smallest of its three paid plans starts at 500 keywords (July 2026). Whether there is also an ongoing free tier, we cannot tell you. The page carries the question "Is there a free plan?" in its own FAQ, but that answer, like the plan amounts, renders in your browser instead of the page source, and we are not going to paraphrase terms we could not read. Check it on their pricing page, since trial lengths and free tiers change. If what you need is an ongoing free tier rather than a trial, ours is described in the next section.
Is there a free alternative to Wincher?
A genuinely free one, with limits: RankLoop's free plan tracks 10 keywords, checked daily for your first week and weekly after that, with no card required. That is enough to watch your most important pages and see the full top 10 for each keyword. Fair warning about "free" in this niche: every Google position check costs real money to run, so free tiers anywhere are small by design, and unlimited free daily tracking does not exist. Your realistic free options are a small hosted tier like ours, or self-hosting something like SerpBear, where the software is free but the server and SERP data are not. If daily checks matter, paid starts at $19/month.
What Wincher does well
It tracks daily positions, sends alerts, and has keyword suggestion features baked in. The onboarding is smooth and it is a sensible first paid tracker for a small business. If you are happy on it, this is not a pitch to leave a tool that works for you.
Where the fit breaks down
Two things tend to push people to look around. First, the price floor: there is no small plan. The entry tier is 500 keywords from €49 a month (~$53 at July 2026 rates), so someone tracking 200 keywords pays for 500. That is where our $19 plan for 200 comes in. Second, the focus. Wincher leans into keyword discovery; if what you actually do all day is watch a fixed set of keywords for your own sites or clients and report on them, you are paying for breadth you do not use while the parts you do use stay basic.
Where Wincher is the better buy
At matching volumes the comparison stops favouring us, and it is worth saying so plainly. At 500 keywords Wincher is around $53 with all of them checked daily, while our $49 Pro checks 300 of the 500 daily and the rest on Mondays. At 1,000 their €89 tier works out near $96 at July 2026 rates, just under our $99 Business plan, and again all daily. Our case is the $19 tier, which Wincher does not serve at all. Above $19, Wincher gives you more frequent data for similar money.
Looking at other Wincher alternatives
If you are still shortlisting, the two that come up most often next to Wincher are SERPWatcher, which has no plan of its own and lives inside the Mangools suite at around $49 a month with weekly updates unless you are on the Agency plan, and AccuRanker, the enterprise end at around $129 a month for 1,000 keywords (their pricing page, June 2026). There is also the self-hosted route, where the software is free and the server and SERP data are not.
Ours is the small end of that market: $19 a month for 200 keywords across 5 domains, all checked daily, with the full top 10 stored on every check and a free plan to try it on first. No keyword research, no local map rankings.
What RankLoop does differently
RankLoop is deliberately narrow. It does daily rank tracking and the reporting around it, and tries to do that part better:
- Every check stores the full top 10, so you see exactly which sites outrank you and when they moved in, not just your own number.
- One live, read-only report link per domain to send a client, instead of exporting a file every week.
- One alert email when a keyword crosses the top 10 or moves past your threshold, not a stream of notifications.
- 200 keywords across 5 domains on the $19 plan, all checked daily, so growing does not keep nudging you up a tier.
When to stay on Wincher
If you lean on its keyword research and discovery as much as the tracking, Wincher is the better all-rounder and you should keep it. RankLoop wins when rank tracking and reporting is the actual job and you want it done cleanly and cheaply.

FAQ
- How much does Wincher cost?
- Wincher's pricing page (July 2026) lists tiers from 500 keywords and up to 10 sites, from 1,000 with unlimited sites, and from 5,000. Third-party listings put those at about €49, €89 and €319 per month; sources disagree on the plan names, so we describe them by keyword volume. Annual billing takes roughly 17 percent off, about two months free. Compared to enterprise tools it is cheaper, but for solo freelancers or small sites it can still feel like a lot for a focused rank tracker.
- What does a Wincher subscription include?
- The subscription bundles rank tracking with Wincher's keyword research and reporting, billed monthly or annually for the whole package. That is the thing to weigh: you are paying one price for both halves, so it is good value if you use the research side and expensive if you only open the tracker. RankLoop sells the tracking half on its own for $19 per month, and you can cancel it yourself from the dashboard in one click.
- Does Wincher charge in euros or dollars?
- Third-party listings quote Wincher in euros (Capterra, G2, July 2026); wincher.com renders its amounts with JavaScript, so check what currency it shows you. Against a euro price, what a US or UK buyer pays moves with the exchange rate on the billing date. RankLoop is priced in US dollars at a flat $19, $49 or $99 per month. Either way local VAT is added at checkout by the seller of record, so compare the pre-tax number.
- Wincher vs SERPWatcher, which is the better tracker?
- They are sold very differently. Wincher is a standalone tool from €49 per month with daily updates. SERPWatcher has no plan of its own: it is the tracker inside the Mangools suite, and mangools.com lists its updates as weekly, daily only on the Agency plan (July 2026). Pick based on whether you want the suite and how fresh you need the positions.
- Is Wincher free?
- Wincher's pricing page advertises a free trial, and the smallest of its three paid plans starts at 500 keywords (July 2026). Whether there is also an ongoing free tier we cannot tell you: the page carries the question "Is there a free plan?" in its own FAQ, but that answer, like the plan amounts, renders in your browser instead of the page source, and we are not going to paraphrase terms we could not read. RankLoop's own free plan is described below.
- What are the best alternatives to Wincher?
- It depends on what you are replacing (figures July 2026, AccuRanker June 2026). SERPWatcher only exists inside the Mangools suite at around $49 per month, with weekly updates unless you are on the Agency plan. AccuRanker is the enterprise option at around $129 per month for 1,000 keywords. Self-hosted software like SerpBear is free as a licence, but the server and the SERP data are not. RankLoop is the small-end option: $19 per month for 200 keywords across 5 domains, all checked daily, with the full top 10 stored on every check, and a free plan to try it on first.
- What does Wincher's tracking actually cover?
- From the feature table on Wincher's pricing page (July 2026): daily ranking updates on every plan, on-demand updates from the middle plan up, competitor tracking at 5, 10 or 20 competitors per website depending on tier, and Google Maps tracking with weekly updates, which uses a credit allowance of 25 with extra credits sold at €10 per 500. Google Search Console integration is on every plan; Looker Studio and API access are on the higher ones.
- Is there a cheaper alternative to Wincher?
- Yes. RankLoop's Starter plan is $19 per month for 200 keywords across 5 domains, with daily checks, alerts and client reports included. There is also a free plan with 10 keywords and no card.
- Is there a free alternative to Wincher?
- RankLoop has a genuinely free plan: 10 keywords, checked daily for your first week and weekly after that, no card required. Truly free daily tracking is rare anywhere because every Google check costs money to run; if you need daily checks, RankLoop's paid plan is $19 per month. Self-hosted tools like SerpBear are free as software, but you still pay for the server and the SERP data.
- Wincher vs RankLoop, which should I use?
- If you lean on keyword research and discovery as much as the tracking, Wincher is the better all-rounder. If rank tracking and client reporting is the actual job and you want it done cleanly and cheaply, RankLoop is the more focused pick.
- Does RankLoop include keyword research like Wincher?
- No. RankLoop does one thing, rank tracking, and tries to do that part well. If you need keyword research, pair it with a dedicated research tool. That focus is why it is cheaper for the tracking job itself.
